While at Middlebury, Cheyanne was a chemistry teaching assistant for two years. She was awarded the Center for Careers and Internships’ summer grant, which allowed her to travel to Thailand to coordinate coral reef clean ups and take part in coral monitoring and cultivation projects.
Cheyanne grew up in the Green Mountains. While attending Burr and Burton Academy, Cheyanne spent her senior year studying in France with the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. It was during this time that Cheyanne became fluent in French and developed a passion for oil painting. She also spent a gap year volunteering at a preschool in rural Nepal before matriculating to Middlebury College.
When away from her desk at WRG, Cheyanne can be found in her art studio or working in her gardens. She is an avid runner and snowboarder, always finding a way to stay on the mountains no matter the season. Cheyanne is currently training as an emergency medical technician (EMT). She is looking forward to joining the Londonderry Volunteer Rescue Squad and putting these new skills to use in her hometown. If you are curious about what living in Vermont has to offer, Cheyanne has a deep appreciation for the area and can offer insight about the culture, cuisine, and happenings in the Green Mountains.
