Trent Stephens is a valued member of the Wohler Realty Group team. His successful 10+ year career in resort property management at Stratton Mountain has uniquely prepared him to be an outstanding realtor. Working for the homeowners of the Village, Mountain Reach, Mountain Ridge, and the Landmark at Stratton, Trent brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge of Stratton Resort properties. To Trent, the switch from property management to real estate felt natural. Many of his clients have worked with Trent in the past and trust him to guide them through their selling experience. He is a valued member of the Stratton community and beyond. Trent maintains exceptional working relationships with local homeowners, renters, realtors, and contractors. For years, Trent has been helping Wohler Group whenever they could use a hand. Larry Wohler was Trent’s first manager when he started at Stratton, and when the opportunity came to officially join Wohler Realty Group and start a new career he couldn’t jump fast enough.

Trent has a degree in Ecotourism and Adventure Travel. He understands the attraction of the Southern Vermont lifestyle. In 2009, shortly after the birth of his daughter Mossie, Trent relocated to Vermont with his family and worked as the Head of Building and Grounds for the Merck Forest and Farmland Center in Rupert. Trent and his wife purchased a small farm in West Pawlet, Vermont, where they maintain an organic garden and raise sheep, rabbits, and chickens. With kids growing into young adults, the farm has become a family affair. Their love of good food and knowing what goes into it is infectious. Through their interest in sustainable agriculture, conservation, and outdoor living, Trent and his family have embraced Vermont’s special sense of community.

Trent is deeply invested in the Southern Vermont community, well-beyond the resort area. For several years, Trent has been known for repurposing furniture he has collected from Stratton area property owners. This furniture has been donated to families, Habitat for Humanity, and wherever the need exists. He recently helped his son start a podcast, Eye on the Shires, showcasing local nonprofits, their needs, and encouraging community volunteerism.

Trent is a jack-of-all-trades. This skill is especially valuable to his buyers evaluating the condition of a property, working through a building inspection, and understanding the importance of annual maintenance. Trent has a passion for building strong relationships and he is excited to apply his diverse background to the world of real estate to help others find their Vermont dream, whether that’s a trailside home, a small farm in the Shires, or anything in between.

Trent is a self-proclaimed outdoor nerd. In his free time, you’ll find him spending time with his family, working on his farm, hiking, and skiing. In his own words, “I like to go downhill fast and uphill slow.”
